How to Read PerilX Outputs

The examples on this page are illustrative and contain no personal data. They explain how the product presents preliminary information, not the outcome for a real user or asset.

Individual analysis: physical risk profile

An individual analysis interprets earthquake, flood and landslide context separately for a location and declared building information. It does not predict the exact damage level of a specific building; it explains relative vulnerability and the subjects that may require review.

Location hazard indicators

Summarise the earthquake, flood and landslide context for a selected location. They are location signals, not a statement of building strength.

Physical risk profile

A preliminary output produced by interpreting declared building information together with location hazard layers.

Vulnerability class

Expresses relative vulnerability in an understandable class. A lower class does not mean that a building is safe.

Data completeness

Shows how complete the available inputs are. Missing or uncertain inputs require a more cautious interpretation.

Portfolio analytics: multiple-asset view

Portfolio analytics uses the available standard fields in a CSV or similar asset inventory to produce a comparable view across assets. It is designed for prioritisation and expected-loss context, rather than detailed user declarations for every individual building.

Damage-state distribution

Summarises expected damage states across assets by count or replacement-cost weight.

Expected economic loss

Expresses expected loss in monetary terms using the replacement-cost approach; it is not a market-value estimate.

Hazard-specific separation

Earthquake, flood and landslide are interpreted separately so that the dominant source of exposure remains visible.

Prioritisation

Supports the sequencing of field review, data completion, insurance discussion or detailed engineering assessment.

Interpretation boundary

A lower result is not evidence that a building is safe, and a higher result is not a certain damage outcome. PerilX outputs are explainable decision-support information based on location, data completeness, structural class and the relevant hazard layer.

Review the methodology and data sources before using outputs in a decision process.
